About Robert Brubaker

The art of Robert Brubaker has focused on anthropomorphic western characters for over forty years. Always exploring the delicate balance between animals and humans, giving equal value to both the human body and the animal head. Working in stoneware, Robert creates one-of-a-kind ceramic originals, some pieces are then translated into bronze and available in limited editions.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Robert received a BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1974 and completed graduate studies at Illinois State University in 1976.

Studio and home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
