Leaps of faith moments happen often throughout our lives.
We acknowledge the impact our cumulative experiences have on our perception and action during important events.
As we move forward in time, we pause to show gratitude for these experiences that give us courage to take a chance.
Looking out over vast grasslands, the tiny insect serves as a reminder that a leap can be physical or symbolic.
The grasshopper catapults wildly from a single blade fluttering and flapping without abandon.
During that instant, clearly anything can happen.
Grasshoppers' urge to jump and move from one leaf to the other is their way of living life one leap at a time.
As we all move forward from the moment, we give thanks for what's been given us and trust that our next choice
will be wildly honest and true to self like a jump by the adventurous grasshopper.
The grasshopper can stay safely on a blade of grass and instead opts to jump. Risking everything to see what else can be out there.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Leif received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a focus on studio art in Albuquerque, New Mexico. "
