Carol was born in Massachusetts and has been a painter since grade school. She continued her studies and graduated with a B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art. After college she became a public-school art teacher as well as continuing her development as an oil painter. She moved to the Southwest and immersed herself in painting and learning about the Native American culture and then met her husband in Arizona.
She now lives in Pinon, Arizona, on the Navajo Reservation, where she paints plein air as well as the studio and is always inspired to paint the land and sky.
Carol won numerous awards, enters many Plein-air events throughout the Southwest, and has collectors of her work throughout the United States.
